Hotrot Industrial Composters
NEC Distributors recognise the need for a large scale composter to deal with organic waste, which can be up to 50% of the waste stream. We now offer the latest technology for industrial composters, as demonstrated within the HOT ROT Composting System.
HOTROT is a New Zealand manufactured system, which can produce compost from virtually any organic material. There are four models in the range, with these capable of dealing with waste streams from 0.5 to 13 tonnes per day. The systems are modular in design and can be increased as your waste arisings increase.

HOTROT 1206 :
The baby of the HotRot range the 1206 is designed to process food waste from canteens and commercial premises.

Height overall - 2.70m (8' 10'') (1.6m (5' 3'') with exhaust duct removed)
Main drive - 0.75kW, single or three-phase options

The original commercial HotRot unit, ideal for processing sewage grit and screenings and waste from smaller isolated communities.

HOTROT 1811 :
The 1811 represent the third generation unit, ideal for medium sized installation. Several units have been installed together as part of facilities processing ''dirty'' organics, fruit and vegetable waste and source-separated kitchen and garden organics.

HOTROT 3518 :
The HotRot 3518 is the largest single unit and is constructed from more than 150 tonne of pre-cast concrete hull-sections. Designed to be used by larger municipalities and, with multiple units process up to 150 tonne of organic waste per day.
